Yes please keep me posted.

Brand new the tires look to be going for around $850 or so. Wheels I don't know but probably $100 ($500 for 5). So if a person wanted to buy the tires and wheels new, they are looking around $1350ish. Yes for around that price you can get aftermarket wheels and beefier all terrain/mud tires BUT not everyone wants that.
So $750-800 imo is still a steal.

Just like you, other people are not really interested in the Sport S wheels.
Aren't the Sport S wheels the same as what the Rubicon had for the past five years? I would think there would be a decent amount of interest from folks with "lesser" models. Buy them when practically new and you can have a full set of tires and wheels for less than it would cost for a new set of similar tires when you add in mounting and balanceing.

How about if I sold the Sport S wheels and tires say on Craigslist.
Does anyone know at what price they could be sold for quickly and still make a good amount of money to put towards aftermarket tires and wheels?

Without knowing how much the wheels and tires go for separately, I would think that $750 would be a steal for all of them ($100 a tire (5), $50 wheel(5)).

Wranglin4Life There is not a big price difference between the sport and sport s. The base model sport is not going to have power windows or locks. You will need to go with the sport s. If you try to order one, it would be cheaper just to get the sport s.

Cuse5 I believe to get power windows and locks you have to get the sport s package which includes the power windows and locks, leather wrapped steering wheel and the upgraded tires

Can this configuration JKU be ordered?

I am thinking of ordering my first Jeep! I plan on getting a sport. The sports on the lot are either base models without power windows OR Sport models with more options than I want.

Can I order these options only and about how much would it save?
-JKU
-Auto
-3.73
-limited slip
-power windows and locks
-Hard top or dual top (unless it cheaper for aftermarket soft top)
-base model wheels and tires (the small cheap looking ones)

I have found similar configs as I want but they all have the upgraded wheels and tires. I was hoping that if I don't get those, I will save money that I can put towards aftermarket wheels and bigger tires.
