Very nice! I'm thinking about doing something similar. What did you cover it with?

I just bought new tires (stock replacements....remember, poor teacher) in order to pass state inspection, so it'll be a while before I get new tires again. Can't just pass them on to the Miata

Just three wing nuts. Takes about 2 minutes to remove it from the vehicle. Nice & sturdy while also being out of the way and not exposed to elements. (I love in snowy New England where lots of road salt is used.)

Check out Vectoroffroad.com. They are a low profile metal replacement for the rubber stops on the hood. If you never drop your windshield, I suggest them.

Maybe on 2014 and up because my 2013 works any way off/on with 1 wire method.

ohnoitsbrandon Tinted the turn signals today. Turned out a little darker than I was going for but I don't mind them.

Maximus 3 X Hoop was done last week and side marker lights the week before. She's coming along nicely.

Capt'n Jack really impressed me, it's my first Jeep and I don't have any modifications and it handled sand, muddy sand, and small water pits. I am so thrilled to have joined this world of off-roading! What a champ this baby is! (2014 Sport). I took everything slow and steady, it handled like a dream. (P.s. Please forgive the Jeep hair in that pic, ha!)

How did you do the holes for the lug nuts? I'm ready to do my rims and I'm wondering what precautions I need to take when putting the lug nuts back on so I don't tear the plastidip.

Maybe next week I will attempt to get a shot of the fuel gauge needle pointing to F while traveling at this same speed.

No, who am I kidding, that'll never happen.
Just passed my milestone.

GC_Willys Today I'll finish running 2 wires from each taillight to under the dash. (used 14 gauge). Got a real good lesson in how to remove most of the trim on both sides inside that cover the wires routed from rear to front.

Figured I'd rather run wire now...than in the winter when I can finally afford an sPOD.

The wires will be for future rear lights.

Looking at the sPOD install videos, I'm planning out all my wiring so that I wont need to keep going back and running/zip tying a bunch of lines. (like when I pull the sPOD wiring harness through the firewall....pulling any other lines I might need at the same time. I'm hard wiring my Valentine One, plus a hot for SPOT Trace supplemental power...and maybe an interior light..inside lighting sucks)

Yea, def. the hardest part! I ended up using a coat hanger through the loop of the syn. line then feed that through the drum and used a very long 1/2" extension bar to wrap the coat hanger around......then applied my feet to the winch and put every last ounce of muscle I had into it and finally it submitted! lol

P.S. lubing the line up with soapy water also helps a little I think.....but dont be fooled by that zip tie they give you, its a joke!
