Electric fan temp sending unit location HELP

So I've looked and looked but I cant figure it out. I installed a griffin fan radiator combo. while I'm wiring it I have installed the switch to turn it off when i need to but i need to install the temp sensor, but dont understand where. theres the factory one but I dont want to mess with that cause that'll just cause all kinds of codes for the comp. is the a spot on the engine to install it?? thanks for the help!!
