|Lando25||Just my opinion but if you put a modern roll cage on a CJ, your going to loose the whole look of it. I think your just better off buying a TJ that has a full cage.|

make an old jeep as safe as a new one?
Can I add a roll cage to a 1980's jeep and make it as safe as the 2013 jeep?Are there studies that show which roll cage is the safest? From what little research I have done I know that bends are bad (thankfully my husband is a welder) and that the roll cage must attach to the bottom of the frame of the jeep.
Are after market cages as safe as original factory equipped roll cage?
I want to make an old jeep wrangler as safe as safe as possible. Should we buy a new one?
