wat3rdog About 45 deg this morning. Little chilly for a ride to work naked but a great way to wake up.

You don't need the sticker if your vehicle is registered and insured. You are required to have one for a UTV, dirt bike, buggy, etc. here is a link to the state website for any questions you may have.

I see you are in the AF. Where do you work on base?

No sticker required. NM state law is that your vehicle must be registered either as a normal highway vehicle or for motorcycle/atv/utv then an offroad vehicle registration is required.

Not sure on that one. When I went there last march we didn't have one.

Gordys hill is open, it's a designated OHV park.

You would have to call each ranger district for the USFS to their specific closures for the area or check the USFS web site for each district under alerts/notices. Here is the link to the Cibola district

Puerco is closed/too many sketch things going on.

Do you guys have a club that meets regularly?
Welcome to the Forum and area.

Like JKJeepit said we, nmjg (newmexicojeepgroup.com) meet the first Wednesday of the month at Twin Peaks. Come join us and meet the group.
As for trails another thing you can do is get the forest service road maps for the different areas. I found some nice trails up by Chama, Red River and Gallup. Just need to check in with the forest service for the area to make sure they are open. Some of us also like taking trips to CO to do trails up there. CO is much more off-road friendly than NM.
