indirocz28 It will be awhile. Lol. Starting a fresh YJ build, and in the middle of getting out of the Army, moving, and starting a new job.

Oh, BTW, hit up tx4wd.org!

Feel free to call Steve to set up a time! He would probably be happy to have you all come out.

indirocz28 Hey guys/gals, please feel free to come down to Bryan/College station to join us at our meets at Brazos Valley Off Road Ranch.

The link to the thread here on WF is the second link in my signature. Promised fun for all who come!

We are wheeling this Sunday at 2pm if anyone would like to join us. Also there will be a film crew on hand doing some off road riding and filming. So you may get lucky to have someone ride with you!

03-18-2013 06:43 PM
Rubiconlj That does look like fun! We went out there once after a heavy rain and it was really muddy and slippery. Like you we took it easy since we were solo. Let us know if you want to go again sometime.

Cool pics!
03-18-2013 02:25 PM
GunToter Cool thanks.

So I went and explored part of the Iron Bridge Wildlife area by Mother Neff State Park. I didnt get many pictures of the area because I was trying (unsuccesfully) to get a cool shot of my Jeep. Spent about 3 hours playing around there.

Most of you lifted and locked folks would be bored, but I still had fun.
I was alone so I didnt want to get crazy. Couple of those mud holes got my heart pumping even though I was taking it slow.
The river there wasnt much for fishing so then I went over to the actual Iron Bridge Park.

Not much for fishing there either, but all I had was bass lures, looked like the others there were going for cat.

All in all a fun morning. Now I have to go hose the Jeep down, my appartment people have already complained about the mud, and I've only been back for 15 mins!

Rubiconlj Nice!! I like it.

Sounds good. Let me know when you want to get in touch with him about it
03-16-2013 07:28 PM
GunToter No I got a different style.
Id like to but it will be quite a while till I do, need a lift and tires first.
03-16-2013 06:20 PM
Rubiconlj Very cool you got the snorkel too! Did you get the same as Jason? We ended up taking the motorcycle out for a drive instead of the Jeep. Are you still thinking of getting the Jeep bed lined? I have the guys contact info and he does really good work for a phenomenal price.
03-16-2013 02:49 PM
GunToter I had planned on it but me and Jason put my snorkel on lastnight. I still need to clean up the cut and put some trim on it so its kinda ugly looking now. Besides, I WAY overslept!
03-16-2013 02:46 PM
Rubiconlj Good day to be out riding around with the top down!! Did anybody go to the cruise in?
03-16-2013 02:34 PM
Aseawood Whoops, wish I checked this about 2 & 1/2 hours ago. Thanks for the info.
03-16-2013 10:52 AM

03-15-2013 06:38 PM

Central Texas Jeep Cruise-In, Saturday Jan. 19th @ Noon
Are you going to the one in March? I want to make it to that one!! Did Logan send the new pics of her lift/tires?
02-15-2013 03:49 PM
LJ2005 Hey jku. There is a military jeep club that's based out of Ft. Hood. Since you're prior service, you could come out and meet some people. There is a meet n greet tonight in Harker Heights Market at a place called red's corner grill or something like that. I think it's at 1800. The website is militaryjeepers.com Just look for the Ft. Hood chapter.
02-11-2013 01:54 PM
09JKU Thanks guys!! I'm looking forward to the summer!!! Topless and doorless days!!!!
02-10-2013 08:07 AM
Aseawood Thanks for the heads up. I'll be busy for the Feb meet up but can probably make it in March.
