|Disconnected||Been running 35's on my daily driver JK and honestly prob wheel about the same as you, 5-6 times a year on some semi-difficult trails and havnt had an issue. So long as ya dont pretend your running the hammer i imagine you'll be fine. That being said, if slapping some sleeves and gussets give ya the peace of mind then I'd go ahead and do it.|

does anyone know of a good 4WD drive or a good welder in NJ or eastern PA that can do this. I am also down in virginia alot (around williamsburg) and could try and schedule something when im down there.

|HK_Runner||Sleeves and gussets- the kits cost maybe $200-$250. Installing/welding them will cost around another $250-$350 around here.|

|Ex Umbris Currus||I just did the ACE C-Gussets with my 35s. Cost $63 and around $50 to get them welded on. Of course, bent Cs would have given me an excuse to buy a ProRock 60.....|

Most likely you will be getting 2 opinions on this.I didn't bother when I had 35s and nothing bad happened even playing on the rocks.
It also depends how you wheel your Jeep. If your the aggresive type that powers thru stuff rather than being finesse then yes.
With the type of wheeling that you say you do I would at least get the bracket to relocate your steering damper up higher if you haven't done so.

Sleeve And Gusset required for 35's?
looking at taking the plunge and getting 35's, trying to budget for it because it requires doing alot of things to support it (lift,shocks,drive shaft,brake line extenders, rear tire carrier and bumper, etc)
Was going to order the rancho lift but started digging a bit more found posts saying i need todo this. Im not a heavy wheeler but do light to medium trails here and there (3-6 times a year, not enough i know )
Can i get away with not doing sleeves and gussets for now or am i playing with fire? i cant weld and even if i did know how to im not sure i would trust my self because its so critical.
I live in South NJ so its not like we have a bunch of wheeling shops around can anyone comment how much it roughly costs to have a good welder do this.
