01TJ60 I think you can run either width w/ the 32's, just gives you a different look. Would defer to someone who knows more than me though. Good luck & post some pics when you finish. Would like to see how it turns out.

0TJ1 Goodyear recommended the 9" wheel width for the MT/R's as tested. No idea if I actually need 15x9's tho?

01TJ60 Sorry, left out that I went w/ BFG MT KM2's in 32x11.5 tires.

0TJ1 Should add tire size duh. 32x11.5 15 my bad...

01TJ60 Also have an '01 TJ and recently replaced stock w/ MT Sidebiters 15x8 w/ 3.625 backspace, and ProComp 2" lift. It turned out really well, just the right amount of lift I was looking to gain.

I don't know much about the backspacing req's, but don't think you need to go up to 15x9 wheels. Hope this helps.

Birddog wheels/Backspace 01 TJ

Just got me an 01 TJ sport 4.0l (its stock). My plan is to put 32's on Interco Birddogs. They offer 15x9's with 3.5 and 4.5 Backspace. I will change flares and possibly a 2" lift. But which backspace should I go with?
