^^ THIS!

We're out in West Knox and really like it. Wish we had bought with more property, but we were kind of rushed on our housing decision. Long story...

Anyway, a lot depends on what you want. There are tons of more "rural" areas that aren't terribly far from Knoxville. Strawberry Plains, Halls, Maryville, Clinton, Oak Ridge - it all depends on what you're looking for.

Wranglin4Life Congrats on the move! I have family not far from there in Johnson City and Limestone. We got down every year. Love the area. You will like it a lot.

Knuckles65 It really depends on "where" in Knoxville and what your budget is looking like.

Here's a good place to get you started.

Senior Chief I grew up in Middle Tennessee, but only travelled to Knoxville for UT games. I looked down in the Tennessee forum and there seems to be a few East Tennessee members.

Good travels....

Moving to Knoxville

I'm gonna be moving to Knoxville, TN in about a month. I'm wondering if anybody has any good recommendations on apartment complexes in the area. Any info would be great. I've only been there a handful of times.
