Chipzthedude What's up people I don't live down here but I am down here often I work on nob I'm a merchant mariner and about the mudding I'm def down legal or not lol and the cookout thing what about north side park off of tidewater I've seen a few car thing there you don't have to pay just get there early enough and get a spot there are grills already out there and picnic tables I would def be down for something like that

viperx6x9x That's no fun. Most of my play money goes to rifle competitions anyway. I might be able to squeeze in a round or 2 of skeet one of these weekends.

Good luck with that driveshaft. Don't know how much help I would be with that.

darknes Maybe one I get the jeep fix. Drive shaft fell out on damneck this week, brand in 3 months ago

PH_USMC I'm in southern chesapeake area or great bridge, looking for other gym enthusiasts and places to ride. I've already gotten a couple warnings for being where I shouldn't be so I'm looking to play and be able to bring my son.

viperx6x9x damn neck ain't that far, i'm on little creek. I don't have a clue where any wheeling spots are though, and I can only go where a stock TJ can go, lol. Haven't had the cash to do any lift or suspension work yet, and i only have the lovely dana 35's that come with the X.

cerveza Depending on when it is, I'd make the trip from Richmond.
05-02-2013 09:06 PM
tylerrelyt101 I'm stationed in Dam Neck and would love to find some people to go wheeling with

ginger1031 Ok that's cool let me look around and what not I don't mind helping you out we just have to plan this around some of the major jeep events going on so more people will show. But yea I will let u know if I find something interesting.
04-10-2013 09:54 AM
viperx6x9x I am horrible at organizing events, but if we get a time and place together I can talk some people into coming. If i get enough notice I can maybe get an email chain going around the base and round more jeepers up.

Any ideas on a location? Va beach ocean front is hard to get parking as it is. Downtown Norfolk isn't much better. Maybe one of the malls around the area, Maybe Williamsburg. Maybe somebody down in Pungo has some land and can host. Just throwing some ideas out there.

ginger1031 Start thinking about a date and what not now regardless of how many people, because people will show I have two other jeepers that would come and if we do a cook out are we gonna each bring a dish or just throw in some cash for food.
04-09-2013 12:05 PM
Bcon2010 I would be interested in going, hopefully i will be around for it. Lets do it.
04-08-2013 12:45 PM
darknes Well hopefully get more ppl and start think about date and time
04-07-2013 09:28 AM
viperx6x9x Yeah, i'm sure I could talk some people from work into coming out. At any given time there is at least 10 JK/TJ's in the parking lot. Every now and then a YJ sneaks in there. Our base is crawling with wranglers.

There's even an old toyota FJ restored that you see on occasion, really nice looking for a yota.
04-06-2013 12:07 PM
ginger1031 I'm located just south of richmond kinda in the same boat you are had my wrangler for a couple months now too. I have a buddy or two that would probably be intetested.
04-06-2013 06:55 AM
viperx6x9x I could go for a cookout. Gotta come up with a trailer though. Grill isn't huge, but way too big to fit in the jeep.
04-06-2013 06:53 AM
darknes Or maybe at the beach big cookout

Hampton Roads area Jeepers

Just out of curiosity, how many of you are there around here? I have only had my TJ for a few months and first nice day out in a while I went for a little drive.

Probably 5 miles there and back and my waving arm was getting tired, probably passed at least 30 wranglers.

Next question, since it is getting to be spring finally and nicer out. Anybody interested in a big jeep meet or car show kinda thing if we can find a parking lot big enough. Maybe bug the local dealers and eastern off road to sponsor some stuff.

I am more partial to wranglers, but why not just invite all Jeeps?

Just a thought, sounds like fun in my head.

Cheers.
