14RedUnlimited Ok, maybe the 3rd times a charm. Meaning maybe my phone won't freeze while adding pics...lol. Anyway, brought the new Hard Rock home today!! Made an adjustment to front bumper already and stinger bar, LED fog lights and a light bracket for bumper are on their way!! Looking for black, flat fender flares now. Any suggestions?? Oh, and hubby was happy I "let" him drive it already. Hehe

I guess if you drove it around a bit before it fully cured it would be fine.

Btw, I searched here and found many threads with identical pictures.

I go underneath with a spray can once in a while and touch up the rust . they don't do rust treatment where I am,they only do rock guard and I sure don't want all my after market lift part to be rock guarded lol

This is "normal surface rust" from my dealer. After 3 weeks battling with them, I decided to do the job myself. At least I know it is done right. With the winter coming here soon (It is supposed to snow this week-end), I was not willing to wait more. They put salt on the road here... it would not help the situation.

It's your jeep dude :-P. Put a switch for the winch, lights, GPS whatever... I'm jealous you have a SPOD. Good luck with the install!

I don't have the ACE sliders (I've got a moab) but I seriously love nothing more than someone who pulls up and throws their door straight open Into my rails. The look on their faces haha

The long winch cables go direct to the battery. If the positive should chafe or otherwise short you could face some serious damage. A cutoff at the battery prevents that and allows the winch to be isolated when not in use,

Right, I also keep the controller locked in the trunk so someone would have to have a controller to do anything. 1) that's noisy which will cause attention. 2) someone can still mess around with the clutch and still take the cable and hook if they really wanted. But that would be time consuming and noticeable.

I think it's personal preference to put a switch.
