C-W Plastidipped the grill. Went with the gray to match my wheels. I'm not sure I like it and may go with black after I look at this a few days and decide for sure.

Jenkins01 Installed AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake... Simple install, great results! Obvious increase in acceleration, and even sounds better!

Ace Sliders - fitment question

Got a surprise from the brown Santa truck when I got home yesterday, a key ring with bottle opener from Ace Industries! Lucky for me it came with 2 Rock Sliders, lol!

Didn't go on as slick as the video, but still was little effort, ended up grinding the entire circumference of the body mount washers as the where just a smidge to large for the hole, no big deal. the look great and are sturdier than I expected, impressive.

I have one question for you guys, the driver side fits perfect, the passenger side rear hits the Rubicon slider hard. If I had another large washer I'd place it between the slider and the frame mount. I can see friction wear to happen between the Rubi rail and Ace rail as the contact is solid and hard.

Have anyone seen this before and should I be concerned?

love my magnaflow coupled with K&N 63 cold air intake. Up to 3500 rpm it's all muffler, above 3500 rpm the K&N drowns it out.
Went crawling at Tuttle Creek ks on Sunday, took a good bounce dropping of a rock ledge but no damage to the muffler.http://youtu.be/ZvQikTG4Gm0

BRUT4CE So had some time and money out on a job right now had to do something to kill some time and wanted it to be something needed..

Made some reinforced 3/16" rear lower control arm mounts to weld over mashed stock ones...

Made 3/16" plate mounts for lower control arms...along with a skid...the backplate isn't in the pic...forgot about it on table..

This side was good back side was crumpled in and other side was mashed heavily

Boxxed in the rear upper as well, there will be a triangular gusset going downwards added.

Plated the lower heavily ground off the stock angled at frame and burnt this in

And here's a shot on...
Got some RCV's from a buddy so finally slapped em in...

Slapped the rear carrier back in and added a bar on top that will also be a LOW profile rack that rotates up to allow tops off and on easily.

WranglerChik Don't know if I posted this before, but I'm gonna do it again anyway (hmph)

Plastidipped the grill red and the hooks. New steel bumper (going to get the bars after I do the suspension).

Realized way later that I didn't even have to tape the stupid billet! Doh!

I would say if you don't ever have this issue, then maybe you don't need the lift... But if you do any wheeling and start scrubbing, you may damage a tire.

Those do look really nice!
Love the shoes!

I have a manual and currently running 33's with 3.21's, it's not bad but I want more gear.

My new problem is that I ordered a 2.5 inch lift a few weeks ago, and now I don't think I need it..... I parked up beside a couple of JK's with 315's and 3 inch lifts, and my little 285/70/17's with no lift looks no different really.... Am I just wasting $$$ with that extra 2.5 BB?
I go to the mountains every couple of weeks, but stick to the main roads as much as I can.. I just wanted some good tires for the snow and packed ice we live with 8 months of the year up here in Canada. I figured since I was buying new tires anyway, I might as well go for the 33's, and would want to lift it for the clearance. Seems like I have a lot of room under there already. I paid $50 for a stocking fee on the lift , but I just may let them keep it, and stick with it the way it is. Watcha all think?

Mines the one that says Yeti Edition on the hood on the right side of the pic. The other 2 are running 315/70/17's with 3 inch lifts. I know side by side they are taller, but proportions look identicle with a smaller tire and no lift...

Don't forget about the break-over angle too. Lift will only help. Enjoy
