PrecisionPowder Got my cheap HF hitch rack it. Wobbles like crazy so I am going to have to sleeve it or weld some thin plate to the receiver to stop that

I have a manual and currently running 33's with 3.21's, it's not bad but I want more gear.

I would say if you don't ever have this issue, then maybe you don't need the lift... But if you do any wheeling and start scrubbing, you may damage a tire.

Those do look really nice!
X2

If yiu ever wheel you'll wish for that lift. Then cones 35's and then 3.5 inch lift then 37's

My new problem is that I ordered a 2.5 inch lift a few weeks ago, and now I don't think I need it..... I parked up beside a couple of JK's with 315's and 3 inch lifts, and my little 285/70/17's with no lift looks no different really.... Am I just wasting $$$ with that extra 2.5 BB?
I go to the mountains every couple of weeks, but stick to the main roads as much as I can.. I just wanted some good tires for the snow and packed ice we live with 8 months of the year up here in Canada. I figured since I was buying new tires anyway, I might as well go for the 33's, and would want to lift it for the clearance. Seems like I have a lot of room under there already. I paid $50 for a stocking fee on the lift , but I just may let them keep it, and stick with it the way it is. Watcha all think?

Mines the one that says Yeti Edition on the hood on the right side of the pic. The other 2 are running 315/70/17's with 3 inch lifts. I know side by side they are taller, but proportions look identicle with a smaller tire and no lift...

Don't forget about the break-over angle too. Lift will only help. Enjoy

It all depends on how u like it. If ur not doing any hard stuff and ur not bottoming out or stuffing the tires in the fenders I would leave it. $50 is a little bit to lose now than spend on a lift and regret it later.

Dusthol I changed her oil n filters. Vacuumed and wiped the dirt out of the inside. Took her to lunch so she could be social with others. But all the other vehicles were intimated by her so she sat all alone.

RATyson I installed my new patented "Snakescreen" snake depositor system. It is used to deposit snakes along the trail to ward off any would-be assailants.

Installed and field tested:

Mounts perfect to the frame portion in the area of the motor mounts... and then down to the cross member where the tranny mount is... No cutting on the frame and using existing holes for mounting... I have a '12 JKU... I just need to make gussets for the "up" arms... Thinking just to fine tune shape a 1"solid angle iron to the underside and welding it... I have to think weight now.. This this is almost 20lbs now.... 3/16" steel with some 1/4" here and there..

Oh... When mounted and with my lift, I clear 19" from the ground to the pan
