Post a pic when you get done. I'm interested in how much prep work is needed being raw steel.

We'll see if your paint & body skills are better than mine.

It won't take much.
I assure you, my sheetmetal skills are 0 and my paint skills are a 4. Im going to etch primer/rattle can them, MAYBE powdercoat if they fit into my oven.

True, but I still don't like cutting things when not needed. I'll get the AEV builders corners and mount my own tail-light system in it. Now to finalize the look Im going for....Maybe a round light for brake/tail/turn and a rigid flush mount for reverse...could look cool.

highwayman Good luck on making a choice. If you really want em, I say go with em and cut away. I was like you on cutting more holes, digged MC fenders, so it was a done deal for me.

Rmiller31 I think the poison spider corners look the cleanest.

Honestly, if I wanted the square looking tail-lights, I'd probably just go with AEV....I just REALLY love the look of round tails. After more research, it seems no one except AEV (and like you mentioned, metalcloak) is drill and play...the rest of them are all cut (to various degrees), drill and play.

School me on rear corners....

Hey guys....Im looking for rear corners, but with a catch...it is 95% for looks. I want corners with ROUND lights. Also, I don't mind DRILLING into OEM sheetmetal, but I do not want to CUT OEM sheetmetal. I believe both the Evo and PSC require you to trim sheetmetal around the tail-light. So my options are....

Poison Spyder rear corners....

Pros

*look good
*people generally say they fit great

Cons

*Too long for my needs.
*expensive
*no reverse lights

EVO Offroad

Pros

*very strong
*well priced

Cons
*poor fitment. Requires clamping to force the metal to line up
*no reverse lights
*too long for my needs.

River Raider

Pros

*length is exactly where I want em.
*love the way the light sits. Looks the best IMHO.
*available in aluminum (don't want extra weight when not needed)
*price is ok

Cons...

Honestly, can't find a lot of info on them and the company. Don't know how well they fit, if you need to drill to mount the skin/new tail-light, etc.

Anyone have any advice? Anyone own river raider skins?
