Kssting Thank you. The picture does confirm what you were saying about the fenders not really providing extra/total coverage.

I guess I will need to find a jeep friendly inspection station.

Dunkin_D Let me know if you want one better. I just took this real quick.

Kssting Bushwacker claims they get more coverage but from all of the pictures I have seen they look the same or narrower than stock. If you don't mind taking a straight on shot of the fenders that would be great.

The stock fenders are about 2" short of covering

Ah they still stick out past being legal here in PA. Though, I really dont notice much difference in how far they come out with stock fenders. I dont have any pictures on me showing how far they stick out. I can try and take on later today after work.

I'm kinda glad they weren't, i had to climb out the passenger side to reassess my situation and then, not so gracefully, climb back in

Joe Dragon Looks like everyone has a 2.5" lift. I was at my local Jeep shop and they were pitching the AEV 3.5" lift or the Rock Krawler 3.5". But I am not sure the cost is worth the inch difference and everything else that needs to be done with the 3.5". I am definitely going with 35's. Mine is a daily driver and I just want it for the looks more than off trail. I am thinking of saving the money and going with the 2.5" after looking at most of these pics. Just don't want to have it done and then say I should have gone bigger with the lift.

It varies by driver.. The person I was talking to didn't want RPM over 2500 at highway speed... So actually you calling the Pentastar at 2700 with 4.88 is probably pretty helpful for him.

Thanks for making the numbers work.

Kick ass

I had to be different and went with 35" Handkook MT's on the newer Level 8 ZX. There's a optional rock ring that can be purchased to protect the wheel.

2.5 Rk coils but with only a front bumper. Actual height is 3.5" +

MarkinOhio Trust me when I tell you this: GET THE 35'S. If you don't you will wish you did. 35's look just right on a JKU.

Kelly Safari TSR 315/75/16. Most 315's don't work out to be 35 when mounted and installed on the Jeep. Mine were 34.8 inches off of the Jeep. 33.8 when mounted and put on. I have a 19/60 spring swap and Daystar 1.75 inch Comfort Ride lift. No rubbing.
