I've found quite a few LJ rubicons but it's just trying to find one that doesn't have a sh!t ton of miles and isn't beat to hell. There is also the possibility I might buy back my jeep and slowly fix it myself and get a car with good gas mileage. Once my jeep is fixed and built I can take it off reading without worrying about it. Idk though. I'm still trying to figure out what the best thing to do is.

If you happen to live in Texas, check out select Jeeps. Last time I checked they had an original Rubihara LJ available

Edit: the Rubihara is not available anymore.

ddjeeper The bumper hit the lift gate and my tires hit the rear bumper of the van and pushed the axle back, breaking the axle, transfer case, transmission, and a lot of other stuff .
12-25-2014 01:41 AM
ddjeeper Here's the back of the van.

ddjeeper I have good news and bad news. The good news is I got my reverse gear fixed and get the jeep back Tuesday the 16th. It worked like a dream!!! But the bad news is the next day the jeep decided to get friendly with the back of a van (. Everyone was okay which was good and because of the situation I did not get a ticket which I was very happy about! I have minimal body damage but the undercarriage is totaled (.
I'll post a few pictures but for some reason the app will only let me post one pic at a time.

Ya I didn't want to make mine too easy but some classes didn't match up with others so I had to not take them. I took my act once and my SAT's twice and brought it up 200 points the second try applied to a environmental college up here in upstate ny and already got excepted! can't wait!

NYjeeper_TJ I haven't had any finals or midterms the por15 wasn't soo bad to do just brush it on and wear crapy clothes. Did my frame the best I could and my floor pans. Looks sweet so far the 50 bucks for the qt did the whole thing with some left over. Hit my axals and underbody with some matte black spray paint and with some salty roads already it's still looking good!
12-22-2014 01:21 PM
nobndry How'd everyone's finals/midterms go?

Drakea94 Hi

nobndry Im hoping to get the remaining control arms that i need from Metalcloak this year. Or maybe some flat fenders instead... id end up paying for part of the fenders if i were to get those
12-22-2014 10:18 AM
EatTacoCatTea I asked and hoped to get a Gobi Rack...but I pay for half. Also some similar coating to POR 15, but alot cheaper and less hassle to apply. Gotta save my frame from the salt this time next year
12-22-2014 09:16 AM
NYjeeper_TJ I managed to get qtech floor matts and a replacement sub already. Hoping for some led Pods for my windshield I'm a senior in high school this year and this is my back 02 tj.

All you have to do is rebuilt reverse right? I have the same problem and mines an 05, but 05 and 06 both shared the NSG370 6 speed. Just doesn't make since to cost that much just to rebuild reverse even with the labor
I guess it's actually a pretty big job to do. I talked to a few different shops and they don't even want it in their shop because it's such a pain in the a$$. So idk I'll figure something out. I just hope my baby is drivable for when I get back from college!
