dmcg toggle switch will work, no relay needed. Had one on my Alfa Romeo as an anti-theft and will soon do it for the Jeep

fantomas I was thinking about a kill switch for the Jeep. I had one on my WRX (PO installed) and sometimes for whatever reason the wire would disconnect from the terminals causing the car to stall. Just keep that in mind it's one more point that may fail. I'm pretty sure they had a relay so they could just run one wire because the switch was next to the trunk release.

Gunz n tractorz Is this a good idea? Starting to have second thoughts.

jokerchief462 A kill switch will work and yes probably better to cut out the ground. There is no major draw in the ground wire so no relay needed. Great anti-theft switch.

Fuel pump kill switch

Can I just use a toggle switch as a kill for my fuel pump or do I need a relay? Which wire should I put the switch on, ground is what I was thinking?
