verax Did you make it up there? I'm looking for something like this in a few weeks, and am doing some recon on possible spots.

Hope it went well!

S7DZ Yeah you can actually get them at REI. And it was nice up there. Found a good spot on 73 then checked out the look out up there but there was some snow so we decided to wait till next weeiend.

salmonshark I think the ranger station sells them. $30 for the year. You need it for a lot areas, so if you plan on going a lot, get the year pass. Otherwise it's $5/day.

S7DZ Ok will do. Is the pass something i can pop into a ranger station to get or online?

salmonshark Let me know how it us up there. Haven't been since December. Also, I just looked and it looks like you need the NW Forest Pass for this area.

salmonshark FS70 I believe is where I turn left onto heading from Enumclaw. Paved for a long ways with a nice shooting on your way. You'll find several logging roads, camp spots near the river, etc. I'm just unsure which pass I will need. I'll pick up my NW Forest Pass regardless and have the discovery pass already, so I'll be covered either way.

S7DZ Awesome is there a good service rd or what?

salmonshark Greenwater past Enumclaw is a great place for that. I'll be heading there in a few weeks to do exactly what you are talking about.

Get away spot

WA Jeepers, Im looking for a place in western WA where I can drive my jeep up and camp. Id like this to be secluded, able to make a fire and shoot my gun. Does anyone have any suggestions or places they like to go to get away. Any help would be appreciated.
