Yeah I went out to Evans Creek, pretty fun! My Jeep did great! Didn't get stuck lol, there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the dirt roads and the upper campgrounds.. Only got a little bit of damage, smacked my hard top on a stump :/ wish I would have bought a safari top a couple weeks ago when I had the chance.. Oh well still had fun!

You were on D line then... If you are in littlerock you go towards capital forest and you hit the stop sign, left will take you to mima mounds and the paved road that goes past Sherman valley. Right will take you towards the motorcycle campground and C line you just follow C line all the way to the top.... I'd have to look at map to get landmarks and road names. I'm just going off memory, I grew up in that area and have been up there 100 times but its been about 15 yrs so I'm foggy with the names

nwbronco That can be arranged. We should set time aside for that soon.

Skawt Bob,

I'd like to spend some time doing some recovery training/practice. Used the winch a time or two now but want to know what to watch for safety wise.

It's all good. As I stated, I go to help my wife and kid work on the 4Wheelin' skills. We get new folks that want to learn about their rigs as well. I have wheeled in Washington and Oregon for about 16 years now.

Exactly. Don't want to be leaking that stuff in a setting like that. Fix I shall.

StumpHumper I'm on 31s and the only problem I ran into with no lift first time I went out to Tahuya was trashing my trans skid on a stump, other than that it's a cake park. South loop is fun and not challenging at all, takes an hour and a half or so to run so can be entertaining.

nwbronco Tahuya is good. Just know where to go. The kid wheels her TJ all the time there. She dodges the rocks and picks her way through the mollies. A lot of trails have some sections that a stock rig can handle. Evans Creek has trail 311. It leads around to the campround and can be handled by a stock rig.
