Why not just buy your own piece of wire mesh metal screen and make this into a DYI job?
I would never pay 370 for a piece of material that small unless it was a piece of gold or diamonds!
You can probably get some screen or wire mesh grill material like this woven wire mesh ( Custom Wire Cloth - Belleville Wire Cloth Co - Cedar Grove, NJ ) for around 100 bucks or maybe even for free.

|IcarusLSC||There are lots of mesh, billet and other kind of grill guard and inserts made for the TJ's.|

You still may be able to get it to work, however we carry a grille like that for the TJ. It's made by T-Rex Grilles, but it's a little more pricey than the Smittybilt one and is styled slightly different.
Hope this helps!

You need to know the width of the piece. It's channel with a lip that has screen in it. You cut out your grill and screw it on. That's it. Tough crowd to be sure but at least a couple of ideas on how to go about this were presented.

|slash94317||you guys are a tough crowd, so instead of tearing me apart for it, is there something like this made for a TJ?|

That thing kills the signature look of a TJ.

|aelwero||at 360 bux, I'd go to a welding shop and ask them to fab one for a TJ, or even better, go buy all of the tools and material to make one yourself. Bound to be cheaper even going that route...|

|Rubicondon53||360????? You can get darn near the same thing for a tj for about 50 bucks.. I've had mine since 98, on my 98, and on my 04,,, and on a TJ it actually looks good in a utilitarian sense.. 360??? Is it gold leafed??|

While I don't like it, I don't think it's a good idea, and it's overpriced, I think I can answer your question. Keep in mind it hurt my eyes to look at it very long, so thus isn't definitive.
With that said, you will need to do some cutting, some bending some metal massage, and some drilling.
