CPT_D My family and I will be there... Like I said before e have never been wheeling before so please be patient with me. I our Jeep will be capable though. On that note, should we air down, if so what should we air down to? Also, (another novice question...) how do you typically wheel??? (i.e. top up, top down, no top, doors on, doors off)

Probably best to just get there a few minutes early disconnect at the trail head. Some will drive on the road with them disco'd but if you have to swerve to avoid something could be a problem.

If you have time tomorrow be good to disconnect them and make sure it goes OK and then you will be better prepared to do it there. Make sure the Jeep is level or it will not go well, the reconnecting I mean.

Trailsnail Disconnecting keeps the tires planted better during climbs on uneven hills

Trailsnail Satterfield Trailhead- Beginning on US 76/Highway 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 0.7 mile. Turn right onto Windy Hill Road, a paved road. At 0.7 mile when Windy Hill curves sharply to the left, go straight onto a gravel road. After 0.1 mile, turn left onto a narrow gravel road, Forest Service Road #851. Continue 0.8 mile to the OHV trail system parking lot.
