As I say this, I know opinions are like belly buttons, every ones got one asks they are all different... I couldn't disagree more, I had it in my '12 and I loved it, I was shocked at how well it worked with the freedom panels off and windows up. I also liked that it notified me of calls and texts when I had the doors and to off because otherwise I can't hear my phone ... Also streaming Pandora and my phones Nav through it was great! My '13 I should get this week has it too.

This was the boat I was in as well, but went Sahara instead. There were a couple other options I wanted that are only available on the Sahara and Rubicon, so that spurred my decision. I also got a black top too. That seems to be a misconception that all Saharas have painted tops. The flares are body color, but the top is still an option, and not one I got because I preferred the black top.

dreinecke I've got a 2012 JKU Sport with almost the same options. It is the 24S package and has the standard Rubicon Moab-style wheels. I personally love these wheels and had the older set on my XJ for years. One thing I like is that it isn't a black colored wheel. I like those, but they are as common as belly buttons here in Colorado. I kept my stock wheels and after lifting went with GoodYear Duratracs. Besides, if you ever damage one, you can find them on Craigslist all day long for next to nothing!

I went with the AEV wheels. Not only for the looks, but also because I didn't want to mess with spacers.
I went with 33" tires, because I didn't want to rush into changing out the tire carrier. I didn't trust putting much bigger on the stock one.

By going with the S package, you're getting good tires for your intended purpose, and nice looking wheels. You might find out, after driving it a while, that you want to do something different than you think right now.

Wheels and tires will always be for sale.

but that would require patience and discipline...very good advice and I appreciate it.

Unlimited Sport S Purchase

You all have been so great...this site is invaluable. I'm doing my homework over the holiday weekend and am planning a purchase next week (month end!).

It will be my daily driver, not an off-roader (yet!) and I'd like to keep it stock except for a more aggressive looking tire/wheel.

I've come up with the following build and would love your input:

Unlimited Sport S
Hard Top
6-speed
3.73 option
Anti Spin
Connectivity
Then...swapping out the wheels/tires for something a bit more aggressive looking while still maintaining good driveability. I want the power windows, etc or else I would just go with the Sport (and not have to throw away the 17" rims on the Sport S).

Seems to be the best bang for the buck, a great looking daily driver, and a great base (3.73's) for future mods if that day comes (when it comes I should say

Any thoughts?
