Scrivah Just a thought for some people. I just ordered a 2014 JK sport and have every intention of removing the "sport" and "wrangler" stickers myself.

Some people have brought up......why would Jeep even put a Jeep symbol on their vehicle when most people know it's an iconic Jeep..... the reason why they need to badge the vehicle is that in some states/provinces I believe that it is LAW to have the brand and the model easily visible on the vehicle. This is for identification purposes (accidents, making statements, insurance etc). Although we all KNOW that it is a Jeep the badges need to be there so the correct information can be collected in the previously stated.

Like I said before I will be de-badging mine as I think it does look better, but this is why all the stickers/badges are placed.

THW I pulled my "Sport" stickers yesterday. No heat required (although the jeep had been sitting in a 90 degree driveway for about an hour) and I just cleaned off the residue with McGuires scratch x and a microfiber. Very easy - takes 2 minutes total.

Yeah... I was going to do that as well but then i stripped it last minute. No regrets lol taking it off was kind of a pain. I just used a blade to cut the adhesive around the edges of each letter, then i used a tiny flat head screwdriver to slowly pry them up. Alot of the adhesive from the middle of the letters stuck to the grille so i just soaked it with some goo gone for 20 minutes and it came right off with a fingernail.

ha, just "declawed" mine. Couldn't stand those things. I don't mind the anti-glare hood decal, but those yeti paws were a bit emasculating

MUEngineer Took the "Wrangler" and "Sport" off my 2013 True Blue JKS today.

The corner on the "Sport" decal on the passenger side was starting to peel so I figured it was time to take them all off before I had paint fade and you could tell they had been there.

It is a clean look and I figure I someone can't tell what this is without a sticker to tell them, then I don't care if they look at my Jeep or not.

Here is a picture.

Oscar Mike? Hmmm...

John Frank.
Thomas Bill.
Sam Brian.

Other guys with two first names. Why would you do that to your kid? I don't get it...

It is a shame that one could not just get the decals thrown in the back rather than installed. My uncle had a 1982 Camaro INDY 500 pace car replica, decals never were installed.

itsallabouttheu Here is one of mine. Did it last night. Ignore the cowl dent-it was there when i bought the Jeep :-(

BB1857 I have a racing background and think I am going to remove the side stickers and replace with "Sponsors Wanted" decal in the same font. These damn Jeeps are so addictive and I have a hard time leaving anything alone!!
