Thank you.
I'm the fat man with the shotgun. That is my friend's dog.
I wanted pics without me in them, but the battery died before i could get them. The best shot would have been straight east across the valley.
The fully changed spare battery walked off just before I left the house that morning. The folk with kids will understand, that bastard "nobody" must have taken it. *smile*

Last Saturday, back in the Mountains.

Well I finely took the jeep up. I have been under doctors’ orders not to go above 2000 feet, but I couldn’t take it any longer. Two years without getting in the mountains was more than I could bear. So I doubled down on the blood thinners and headed up. If I had gotn’ a paper cut I would have bled out. LOL.

For the most part I only go on logging roads then pack the rest of the way up; I can get away from the “campers”. I’m not sure what you folks use to rate your tails, but it was only one step above a logging road in difficulty; what a view at 8800 feet. And sense I didn’t break, spindle or mutilate anything on my jeep in the half mile; it probably isn’t even a beginners trail.
My camera craped out on me after half a dozen shots, so pardon the fat man with the shotgun. For those of you in my area, that is the Wishon Reservoir behind me, the camera was facing SSE. I was going to try to get up to the tower, but the fallen trees had the rest of the trail block and I didn’t have a chain saw and I didn’t what to push my luck walking it, (radio edit) doctors. *shrug* maybe next time.

Happy Dog

Happy dog getting chin scratched.

*Old Fart Soap Box Alert*
Oh yah one more thing, 3.21 gears SUUUUUUUUUCK. Not a little, like I can make them work, no, they straight up, flat out, no question about it, SUCK.
And I still hate the computer controlled throttle.
*Done with Soap Box*
