itf36059 Hey All, Nice to see this thread is current. Just got my 2015 JK the day before Thanksgiving! Live in the New Ken area and work in Cranberry. I have had 4 other jeeps before this 3 Libbys and an original Cherokee (not that Fiat thing). Also looking for local places to wheel. If you are interested, try the dirt roads around Elk state forest. Not extreme trail riding, (unless you know where to look) but you can catch a glimpse of the PA elk herd. Also, I hear Cheat Lake in west by God Virginia has got some good trails. Also, I plan to check out the New River Gorge for biking and wheeling. Next summer is gonna be off the hook!

I normally travel a lot for work but I am home for the next 4 weeks so outside of the usual holiday stuff I'm pretty free to go wheeling.

RemoJK We all need to meet up and wheel!

Finkoyd- I know a place I go a lot with easy trails to extreme and it's free. It's out in Scottsdale. I even took my friend in her Liberty back there and she did just fine

Cool, thank you. I'm relatively new at this, is there anyplace nearby that I can get the feel for offloading (not extreme rockcrawling yet) with a stock sport?

RemoJK Glad you mad it home! Sucks when something like that happens but it's nice to know there's people to help. We'll have to get out on easier trail ride instead of going on one of the harder trails first thing haha

Jou Hi Guys! We made it ok. Thank You all for your help. It was weird how that Driver rear axle shaft failed, like Jason said it was probably for all the past stressed and abuse lol. Well its part of the Fun! I'm getting a new one plus the passenger side too from Ten Factory (thanks Remo for the info) so I can have 10 years warranty on both. I'll definitely bring the old good one for a spare next time.
Yeap we got to have a lot of Fun before it fail. We drove back home (Pittsburgh) around noon in "3wd" and made it with no problems. My son said "Nice crack pic" LOL

RemoJK It's always nice being able to put a face to a name. I'm hoping I make the next ride
