lee indy rivets. and powder coat the diamond black.

KBR97 i wouldnt use anything but the self tappers or rivets.

the tape will fail.

daanbc If you use tape, make sure you go around the whole diameter of the piece your applying. Otherwise i would think the tape would leave some kind of gap that dirt will get into behind the plate. Which could act like sand paper on the body. Just a thought.

Suggestions on mounting diamond plate

I bought an aluminum diamond plate kit off Ebay for my Jeep, it includes diamond plate side pieces, real coerners and a piece for under the rear gate. The kit includes self-tapping hex screws. Not sure if this is how I want to mount it though. Any of you that have them or have installed them how have you mounted them? Double sided tape, body adhesive, or someting else?
