Skitzic While it really doesn't compare to that, I'd have to say my time as a Family Assistance Representitive. I made the death calls and helped the family with the final arrangements at a nursing home. Bleh.

I couldn't agree more. Thank you for your service, kg4kpg.

04moneypit Da** it, I know I don't have a million posts but I want something for Christmas too! I feel like Eeyore from winnie the poo "That's okay, don't mind me, just a poor gray donkey......(in a very sad voice)" Just kidding, but it made me laugh. I'm my own comedian, sometimes I just tickle myself pink. And I need more smiley's, now I'm stealing scout's.

tiny terror I'll read your posts and figure you out one, then add you to Santa's list, too

I absolutely agree.........those who serve, and have served, this country, have had to go through some pretty lousy conditions. Thank you all, for the sacrafices you have made, for God, family, and country!!!!!!!!

tiny terror Dude, even though this wasn't about winning, you win. As much as we can all piss and moan about lousy jobs, those who have served and seen, lost friends, and been through things that the rest of the country will not experience have my deepest respect.

kg4kpg Well, wont say it's the worst since I actually enjoyed it...but riding in an up-armored hummv (180 degrees inside) through the middle of Basrah, Iraq after the Brits already have the locals pissed. Of course, the worst part is watching one of your friends being put in a body bag. Sorry, it helps to talk about it. Plus, I only lost two friends, I know others who had it worse. Crappy job but I know I'm going again so I can live with it.

03Leo Worst job: serving cocktails at a hustler's bar.

hardy1531 Compared to some of ya'll I think my worst job is kinda nice....I worked as a stable hand for a horse farm during high school. Shoveling sh#t is not that fun neither is mating horses, or breaking them. I have also picked up dead bodies that was ummmm interesting.....

tiny terror I miss the job I used to have. I haven't gotten to yell at anyone in the last six weeks, or call them cupcakes, or make anyone cry and I'm starting to go through withdrawls.

Tiburon I hate with a passion what I'm doing now. I've been a loan officer for 3 months now and I feel like an idiot for taking this job. I sit at a computer all day and call people who think you're a telemarketer and hang up on you. I made over 75 calls, emailed over 50 people today and thats typical, I make less than minimum wage because its 'commisioned' and my base pay is a joke. I miss my job a year ago as a asst manager at CC roadshop. I made good money, had a great time and I was really good at it. They made me take a promotion to a crappy store and I had a horrible team, then they took away my bonuses that I depended on. I got written up the 2nd month I was there, I've never been written up in my life at a job. I took this loan job to get out of there and I can barely afford gas in my jeep now..... I'm looking everywhere for a new job, but its tough being so close to christmas with not alot of businesses hiring. except minimum wage retail.

04moneypit It could have always been worse, I could have been dodging bullets while doing transport in Iraq, I give props to the guys over there. I thought the Navy would be a break from construction, I did 6 years, after I got out last month, I gladly went back to construction.

tiny terror I've tried all sort of stuff added to my clay. Guinness is the best. Grows the aneorbic bacteria I need. Plus, my irish blood causes me to buy it involuntarily.
