lynn You can buy pre-cut frame sides to weld on; cut out the rust and weld in the new pieces.

michiganadam Fix it. Its a sin to kill any major part of that cj. The bantam reconnaissance car gods are watching.

You can buy complete brand new cj7 frames but you dont want to talk about that price....

Whats the frame worth?

I have a nice 82 cj7. Runs like a top and gets good gas mileage. No body rust everything but the hood is in great condition. However my frame is rusted pretty bad at the rear of the jeep on the inside wall of the frame and the rear cross member is rusted. How much is it worth putting into repairing this? I'm in georgia so future rust is minimal
