You probably could've fixed it by extending the front bump stops.

I believe it is a gloss finish. I used the MOPAR 12.5 oz spray. Ordered it from the dealer. I did put a clear coat finish on them as well.

I will take a couple more when I return from vacation. Old Sarge is parked at the house while we visit family.

I removed all a/c vent covers and door accents. Washed each piece with dawn dish soap and water. Then I scuffed each piece with steel wool. Re cleaned each piece and then put three coats of primer on. In between coats I used a finishing steel wool to smooth out any minor imperfections. After all the primer was dry I sprayed three coats of the MOPAR CG touch up spray. I am surprised at how well they turned out. This was my first time attempting to paint anything on a vehicle.

I love it, once I get some lights and a cargo basket up there it will be even better. It's the body armor rack, and it cost $500. I think the Gobi looks better on a jeep, but it is out of my budget. If your looking for a rack and can afford the Gobi go for it, if not the body armor rack is where its at. A few things though, one its heavy(130lbs).
2 there are to ways to install the rear. To the frame its self(which requires either cutting the rear bumper or an aftermarket bumper) or installing it into the sheet metel on the sides.
3 the bolts stick out kinda far and the washers are huge(me being ocd I guess), I plan on getting some sex bolts to fix that.
All in all I love it.
