Thank you all for the wonderful welcome.
Please forgive the delayed response. I've been working a lot of overtime the last two months. Yeah, I'm still working. What can I say? LOL
As soon as I get a little extra time and learn how to post pics I will upload some pics of my Jeep. It's just about done.
Thanks again to everyone!

Might be interested in a pair of grab handles and perhaps a sling for my tactical shotgun. (I'm also a reserve deputy sheriff)
Thanks for replying.

... for the kind welcome letter.
OK, I guess I'm the "newbie" here. Although, as a Vietnam Veteran, I'm sure you have an idea that I've been around the block a few times. And eventhough I may be the "old fart" around here, I still like to have fun. Hence, the purchase of my first Jeep last month. It is a 1993 Jeep Wrangler. (Yes, I know and have been told about the rectangular headlights instead of the round ones, but it is still a Jeep, isn't it?) Besides, it is totally cherry with 85,000 original miles and a professional lift kit with 33 inch tires (with centerline rims no less). As we speak, it is getting a Warn 8000 winch put on, as well as a Detroit locker in the front and sure lock in the back with 4:11 gears. I'm sure this will probably make more sense to most of you than it does me right now but I've been told these things will put a smile on my face as soon as I take it off road. I am looking forward to it. Located in Kern county in California, I'm excited about doing some great Jeep trails around here.
