New from north Alabama
Just want to stop in and introduce myself. I recently bought a 2009 wrangler unlimited Sahara I love it.
I'm a 25 year old Aerospace Engineer living in Huntsville, originally from Orlando, Florida. I have never owned a jeep however I took my dads 86' jimmy out a few times playing. I've wanted a jeep since I was old enough to drive but wanted something with 4 doors. Once they announced the unlimited I was sold (only problem, they were out of my price range) I found this one and jumped on it. I test drove it on my lunch break and went back after work and signed the papers.
About the Jeep:
As I stated above it is a 2009 wrangler unlimited Sahara. When I got it, it had a 2 1/2" to a 3" lift on it. I'm not sure and neither was the dealership. It has smittybilt front and back tubular bumpers. Eventually I play on putting a winch on it (looking at WARN ZEON 10-S Multi-Mount winch). It is sitting on top of mastercraft 37s with (can't remember brand) after market 18s. Other than that the truck is pretty much stock. I'm looking into doing a few upgrades but nothing too drastic which means I'm open to suggestions on what works and what to stay away from.
I am pretty car savy as I grew up working/fixing several vehicles from the 70 SS Chevelle and 66 C-10 to the 96 mustang. Last night I put in the mic kit for my radio that I read about on here. I look forward to learning more about my new JKU.
