First I've heard of this.

I use Meguires car wash detergent when I hand wash. Mostly I take it down to the detail shop on the corner and have it hand washed/detailed. I haven't a clue what they spray on my windows though.

do not use Windex, or ANY products containing Ammonia. Most Soft Top Manufactures
even suggest never washing the Top or Windows with any Soaps that contain

Hancock10 If by fogging you mean scratches,,,there is a possibility. I never take mine thru an automatic car wash, always hand wash my baby. Those brushes have dirt/rocks in them sometimes.
