Hahahaha!!!! Right on Sean!!! I am just getting started on mine. It is almost bone stock and 18 years old last month and it rocked the trails.

I have a bunch of parts sitting in my garage waiting to go on too. Just need to find the time, and of course I have a lot more to get as time goes on.

Stay tuned!!!

thedawgshow A winch is a great tool for sure!!!! You can mod your bumper to fit a winch. I saw a thread on it for a JK.

I know I can not go on the 16TH or any of the other Sundays before then though.

Here is a video of us going up a small rock garden hil it is pretty cool.

Khatton Please do, It'd be awesome to go one last time! I leave on the 17th so this time I figured my dad and I are going to head out there on the 16th for the whole day and meet up with some other Jeeps. Then we're heading to The Beef House right afterwards.
Currently on the fence about the bumper and winch becuase now my buddies want me to put down our deposits on spring break haha. Plus I think with the bumper and winch I probably have to get a TF leveling kit.

thedawgshow Not sure if I can be ready that soon again, but I will try to get something going if I can.

Here is a link to where we can post some pictures of our big day at Redbird. Check them out and post some others there if you like!!!

Yes, we got to the first small town, it quit making the noise, so we went back to try and find you guys.

Met back up with the man in black and everybody and figured out what was wrong. Then went and wheeled the heck out of some trails. #3, #25, 14, and some connectors too. Wish I could have caught back up with you guys!!!

Khatton and all you guys, it was great to meet and wheel with you all, and we need to do it again real soon. When I went back, I found a bunch of cool easy trails and even did a smaller rick garden hill. Right by that huge rock garden!!!

I'd be up for it! I'm available all day Wednesday and Thursday if you want to figure out that soft top. I live in Zionsville, basically at Michigan road and 131st.

Khatton Woke up a little late, only takes me about 45 minutes to get to Plainfield though. See you there!

thedawgshow Man, it is gonna be a muddy mess tomorrow. I can't wait!!!
07-24-2014 09:08 AM
thedawgshow For those of us around Indy, We are looking to meet up between 8:00 and 9:00 at McDonalds at State Road 267 and Interstate 70 on the south side of Plainfield.

Looks like a good chance of some rain coming in Saturday and Sunday. Should make for plenty of mud. I think I will put my soft top and half doors on.

For sure coming on Sunday. Do we have a time and location to meet up prior to heading down?
I'm going to look up and see what the weather's supposed to be like. If it's good then I'm definitely taking the top and doors off.

I went to Bad Lands and it was a great time for my boys and I. It is privatly owned and operated, and everyone there was real nice. A lot of cool rigs, 4 wheelers and more.

Here are a few pics of our time there.....

I will definatly go back sometime, but I wanted to check out Red Bird, as I have not been there yet, and everyone speaks well of it.

You should make this trip to Red Bird and then next month we can head up to the Bad Lands.

I don't think we trying to do anything too hard. Most all of us are pretty green, and pretty stock. I don't think any of us want to get towed back home after this trip.

I plan on leaving Indy around 9AM or so and being at Red Bird no later than noon and wheeling for a few hours and out of there no later than 5PM myself.

Still getting used to driving something where my butt isn't 1 foot from the pavement. Update: Decided not to be stupid and to put tires on hold. Looking around locally to find a place to regear to 4.56 first. Any comments?
EDIT:http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/files...d_property.pdf found this PDF brochure on the state recreation website. Shows a list and map of the trails as well as difficulty.
Well, if everyone commits, right now it looks like about 5 or 6 of us.

As far as re-gearing first, I don't think it is a bad idea at all. I have thought heavy about doing it before I get my lift and tires. I have only 1 year old 31"s and want to use them up first anyway.
