Walkingstick And I am officially operational again. Temporary welds are holding great.

Walkingstick Yeah Ive got the equipment and good welder.
It's been a while since I've welded but the welds I'll have to do are pretty rudimentary.

Jeepnmud Do you know how to weld and have all the gear to do it? I need to cut out and weld in the driver side floor pan at some point.

Walkingstick Haha yeah no kidding.

Used a hoist, homemade, to get the front of it up a bit. Picking up some flat steel today or tomorrow the welding on my tabs.

Jeepnmud Good deal how it went back in easier then it came out.

Walkingstick Tranny is back in place. D-shafts connected. Now, just adjusting the Tcase shift linkage and connecting electrical connections. Should be operable relatively soon.

2000 Jeep TJ SE. I've started work on getting the transmission out but if I don't finish it by early next week, I might need help. Thinking about creating a makeshift hoist with a rope, ratchet strap, hand winch and a pipe.
Thanks for replying man.
