|HK_Runner||STEI1x- thanks for this piece of info. I always though the fuse box was behind the glove compartment or really close to the firewall under the hood, but I guess it is under the hood a bit further up.|

|SETI1x||HK you really don't need to solder anything... i ran my wire to the fuse box and found a fuse that controls something I don't even have (heated seats). pulled the fuse out and placed the wire in the slot and pushed the fuse back in to secure it. Works like a charm.|

I am almost ready to wheel. I say almost because my trackbar is hitting my spring, so I need to make some changes as soon as my Rokmen control arms are done.
Also, I installed the CB antenna using the Cooltech Ultramount (license plate) and routed the coax. Got the CB almost mounted...needed some bolts/washers which I just picked up Now comes the tough part. Instead of going to the battery, I am going to find a good wire near the fusebox and go to it first. If that does not work, I will go to the battery.
Picked up a wire splicer/cutter and a soldering iron. This should be fun...maybe.
Krawl Offroad is good. I have bought from them. I like Rokmen (local) too since they are local and honest/capable guys. I like supporting the locals.

|Nogaro||Newbie69 - as far as the lift kit, there are so many options...the best starting point is to decide what you want out of a lift, what will you be doing in it? Then select a quality option that fits that need. There are a lot of smart jeep veterans that will share information, but it helps to know your goals and budget limits. Start a new thread on this, you will get some good feedback.|

1. What is best lift kit for a novice? Leaning Tera Flex.
2. Best cargo rack? Need something that can be used with freedom and soft tops.
3. Lights? anyone caomment on the lower profile ones that attach to the hood hinge?

Our runs are picked so that anyone can go on them regardless of their experience or modification level. As has been said, most of us have kids and these are our daily drivers (and owe lots of money on them still. Lol) so nothing to rough.
This last trip to China wall is/was the hardest tail we've done. I don't see us getting much harder as this group. Some might break off for harder trails from time to time, but that's not what or main goal is.
Having the experienced rock crawling guys with us is great for learning what you and your Jeep can do.
