jgano23 if the part was crushed it is probably not going to be covered. warranty's are offered to protect against manufacturer's defects not customer abuse. just because a machine or vehicle has a warranty doesn't mean that everything will be covered. as i had mentioned before, neglect, abuse, and/or improper operation is not a warranty-able issue.

crushed fuel line

i had a check engine light pop on after jumping a retaining wall. it was a small one, the dealership said it was my "natural vacume canister" on my fuel line. they said i crushed the thing that tells when my gas cap is off. they said that the rear track bar bracket from the lift caused it. i took the bracket off and installed an adjustable rear track bar and i am going to try a different dealership. any input on that idea or a better way to get it coverd under warranty is appreciated.

i was also wondering how hard that fuel line is to replace and if i need to pull the tank and how hard that is. lastly is their any upgrades or secrets to keep that from happening again.
