TipperD I should also note that at least with the Zone kit they did not supply the 4.25x9/16ths bolt for the hanger end of the springs...I replaced with with grade 8 5" from Lowes...the only 9/16ths bolts in their inventory....used 2 flat washers under bolt head and washer and lock washer under the nut....had plenty of thread. Grease the new bolts and bushings.

TipperD Just finished putting a 2" Zone lift on. The bolts go through a metal bushing inside the rubber bushing. They rust together.....I had to use an air cutting wheel to cut the bolts flush on each side and then you can twist the spring out once the shackle end is free. If you can fit the cutting disc between the mount and bushing and cut off even better. I also had to cut the old shackles to drop one side and the cut the bolts to remove it. To remove the old bushings use a 1/4" drill and drill the rubber out around the center metal bushing.

87YJnTX easier way.......cut end off with grinder then use a punch to push it out. It worked well for me.

Suspension problems

Hey, I am just starting to do a lift on my 87 wrangler and the Bolt on the bushing for the leaf spring will not come out! The bolt spins freely but it won't slide out...I take that back it spins but just barley. I think it's stuck on the rubber bushing. I have tried heating it with a torch but it didn't help much. Also tried a sledge hammer but that didnt work. I need some ideas to get it loose.
