Tofupancho Took the rest of the day off, installed grab bars, took the freedom panels off, and drove through the mountains on a 2 lane highway. Ordered my ACE sliders 3 days later.

jeepfan8 First mod was (Before the first 24 hrs of ownership elapsed) - pair of Rugged Ridge Euro style tail light guards. Next night, I installed the WD Grabars. I loved both of them for the looks, and the finish. Especially loved the grabars. Ken was so nice to deal with and called personally to thank etc.. and I still owe doing the facebook likey for WD which I'll do soon.

Then over this long weekend I installed lockpick CHR550 and backup cam. Cam turned out to be defective (won't invert image), so waiting on my replacement. Hardest part was for me to decide on where to install the cam. My constraints were that I wanted good visibility (even with the hitch hooked up), but to limit any irreversible changes (like drilling etc). I finally ended up placing it right above tow hitch. Had to whip up a custom bracket using some throwaway plastic trim pieces I had lying around in the garage (I turn into a packrat at times )

Rusty Pancelode The first thing was to drive it home and then sigh a sigh of relief that I had a Wrangler again.

Then I plastidipped the chrome grill emblem and added rock rails (mostly to hide the long body seam and fill the empty space between the fenders).

Vt rider Took off the steel wheels and 16" tires and replaced them with Sport wheels and Wrangler SR/A's. Then I got put on a set of sidesteps. Then I ordered some grab bars so the wife can get in and out a bit easier.

Brookslittle I bought mine today (technically) and I am having a towing package put on so I can use my 5x8 trailer. Other than that, I am in love with my new jeep. Its going to be 27 tonight so I am thinking the top coming down will not happen today lol

Ricanbandit Next day dropped the top and took it off pavement. Easy trail, lol, more like a worn down gravel road, but felt so good. Can't see myself not having a Jeep going forward

I learned long ago to tell dealer not to "detail" the new vehicle I just purchased from them. Those stealership goon's with their long handled scrub brushes and dirty wash water can do a real number on a vehicle. Also, that tire slick they spray everywhere is something I do not want.

Long story short, the less the stealership touches your vehicle the better!

jadmt drove my new 2014 jkur straight to the tire store and put some Toyo open country at2's on. Then I drove it home and put spidertrax wheel spacers and a 2" lift on it. I had the lift and spacers waiting before my rubi came in.

Menasor Got bitched at by the ex-fiance because I bought it. Makes me wonder if that is why she is an ex! First mods were Quadratec floor mats, door sill protectors, black Jeep decal and Gibson stainless dual exhaust.

ClayR I flew home from Vegas, friend picked me up at airport and got to my dealership at 7PM. Drove it home with the steelies(since my rubber wasnt in yet for my new wheels), took off for Chicago for a week at 6 AM the next morning. It only has 144 miles on the odo. I can't wait for my license to be reinstated so I can actually drive the damn thing.
