BreckenridgeYJ I would go I slightly different route. (I have a 4"). A friend of mine has a tj that performs amazing... He did a budget boost, 1" bl, a belly up skid, 35's and tube fenders. You can get by without doing a transfer case drop or having to do a slip yoke eliminator/cv driveshaft.... You get a ton of clearance and a low center of gravity. If you're going for looks rather than performance, the 4" will make you happy.... But plan on an sye and adjustable control arms or you will likely have a lot of driveline vibrations and shifting performance often suffers

sinbob that 4" will let you go with 35's....look at some jeeps on 33's and 35's....big difference. The 35's are only about 25bucks more than the 33's

just my .02 cts

audi 4A wrangler like previous poster said. most people who start with a 2.5" lift eventually want a 4". if you plan to USE it, i would say just go big right from the start. if its your daily and drive it mainly on the street, a 2.5 is prob just fine. havent had any experience with skyjacker.

Dieselholic A 4" is good with 33s to 35s. 32s will be good with a 2.5" lift. Skyjacker use to be very good but I hear alot of guys talking them down now. The lift for 539.99 sounds good. I dont know anything about the sport and economy tho. Also from other guys talking and my own experience I would do a 4". Once you lift it you will get use to it and prob goto a 4" anyways. But its your jeep I dont know how you plan to use it. Ether way it will look good.

First time lift buyer. help/ thoughts

So i've been wanting to lift my jeep for a while now, finally i've saved enough money to do what i want. at first i was look at a 2.5 skyjakcer lift which came with Front and Rear Coil Springs, Front and Rear Shocks, Rear Track Bar Bracket, Rear Pinion Cam Bolts, Front and Rear Bump Stops it runs 539.99 with hydro shocks but for nitro its 567.99. I ended up finding a 4 inch sport lift from skyjacker, Yet also a 4in Economy lift from skyjacker to. The sport lift is 535.99 and the Economy lift is 546.99 (the site the sport life is from is on sale and over all 100 less). I want to get some 32 inch tires for it also but don't know if i should go with a 2.5 lift or 4in lift. would a 4in look funny with 32in tires?
Thanks every one for the help!!
