03rubi Can you post a pic. of the poped out seal? This sounds a bit bizarre, so maybe a pic. will give some insight to what is going on. Just for clarification, there is only one main seal and it is the rear crankshaft seal, the front one is usually called the front seal or timing cover seal which ever applies.

front main seal leak?

I have a 2005 2.4L wrangler with a front main leak, i have replaced the seal and it didnt work, i have replaced the oil pump and still didnt work. whats next? the seal keeps popping out as soon as i start it up.
