|Joshpfeffer||Shoot, I thought my Rocky Mountain Edition was a nice base. A Rubi will make an awesome... Frame donation by the time it's modded to your liking, if you're anything like the rest of us and decide to throw every penny into getting it just right. Have fun and let us all know how it goes for you!|

|PHIXIOUS||Thanks. I did some research and was looking at the specs on the LJ and it came with the 4.0L AMC 242 I6 which is awsome, hell its a Rubicon let alone a Unlimited Edition, and the length and width was noticeably larger all these thing seemed better than all the others.|

2006 TJ/LJ LWB Rubicon Unlimited 4.0L
Hey everyone I am new to the WranglerForum. My name is Tony and I currently live in California. I have always had friends and family that went trail riding and now I am getting into it for myself.
I am looking at getting the 2006 TJ/LJ LWB Rubicon Unlimited Edition 4.0L. The reason for this exact year and trim is because I wanted a longer wheel base than regular for comfort and the big boy status LOL. The extra performance features seem like a really good start. I do plan on lifting and performance upgrades to the jeep to do some every now and then extreme driving. I cant seem to keep things stock LOL.
So my question is, is this Jeep a good starter? Thanks for the help and info.
