KC, missed me by a few days. Def would have been interested as it was closer to what the wife wanted to pay. But we found one in VA, bought it and drove it home yesterday. Sorry to hear about the lay off, this economy sucks. I was out of work for 10 months until this past April. Anyway, good luck in your sale, I'm sure she will go quick. Post it in JF, Craigslist, she will go quickly, especially with that low mileage. Take care!

I will be selling mine. It is also a 2005, has 70,000 miles on it. Is a 6 cyl with automatic transmission. Wife got laid off forcing us to downsize. Shoot me back a message if any interest. We are in Manchester. Asking $12,000 obro.
Ours looks identical.......blue with black soft top. Absolutely no rust.

|jkjeeper06||Well that's unfortunate. The stutter could have been old plugs or old injectors which are fairly cheap but a rear main seal, as you know, can be a lot of work. I'm sure there will be other good ones. Check the local states Craigslists, I always see a few LJs kicking around and some of them look great|

Thanks! I went and took a look at it, test drove it, kicked tires, etc. Mild mildew smell in the cabin, not a deal ender. However, I got under her and the frame an all was fine, minor stuff, but decent oil leak which coated the back of the pan and the tranny. I took it as a bad rear seal. Still, took for a drive, clutch was good, handled fine. Bringing it back, had the A/C on, got to a red light, stopped and the engine stumbled a couple times. Still, not a deal ender, I'm a decent wrench turner. They have had it on the lot over 165 days, and as I pointed out issues and went into negotiation mode, I was firmly told I knew what the price was, lol. That was the deal ender. Oh well, when the one that's right for me shows up, it'll be mine. I'm the patient sort. Rushed into too many things when I was younger. Age and wisdom are mine to utilize, lol.
Again, thank you for your time!

|jkjeeper06||The frame has a decent amount of surface rust as does the front pitman arm. Definitely could be cleaned up with a sanding disk and an angle grinder then hit with paint. I'd make that a priority. The other thing is that it has snow tires on it. Those won't last very long this summer as the rubber is very soft so you'll need new tires soon. Also, with that much rust on the steering stabilizer, I wouldn't be surprised if its shot. Nothing is a big deal there, but the rust is definitely something to address|

|jkjeeper06||I see the bumper thing. You could pop that off and repaint it. Also in the rear right corner at the way bottom you'll have to look at that. Probably just dirt but better safe then sorry. I wish I was passing thru there this weekend. I love LJ's so if love to help you out|

There is an '05 Unlimited up there for sale that looks to be what I've been looking for. I live an hour and a half away, and plan on driving up Sunday to check her out. Just wondered if someone lived near there, if they knew anything about the Jeep or could drive by and see how it looks.
It has 124,000 miles, looks to be bone stock, I6, 6 speed. They are asking $11,800. Only thing I could see from the pics is the rear bumper looks odd. Rust and lighter blue paint? Thanks for any help!
