I can believe it for a two door, just wish I could find such a deal on an unlimited!

Up Hill Bill If you know you are getting the FFP price from the true factory wholesale invoice, and if you are using the Chrysler Affiliates Rewards program, you are gatting a very good price, period. Yeah, you might be able to sweat and squeak and brow-beat your way to another few bucks off, but, is it really worth it? Not to me. Great to make a deal where both you and the dealer are happy and still can talk to each other when the deal is done.

Just watch out for the finance manager = "closer"! Do not agree to ANYTHING else but the jeep FFP price, tax, tags and DOC.

FXnut I know for a fact from a friend that used to work at a VW dealer and also from my own experiences that NEW car dealers have way less of a markup than used..

10% off sticker is a good place to start.. i've been offered 20% on a few undesirable setups (no AC) brand new...

but this is just the usual w/ car sales.
I've never bought new.. What is the best way to do this? Just throw it out there? "I'm paying 10% off of sticker or goodbye!"?

Hello? THIS is the reason I take people's pricing with a grain of salt.

Don't feel bad, in Chicago its 9.25 %

For most of the options, 11% off MSRP is about invoice. When you want to know the invoice price of an option, you can usually multiply it by .891...that will be pretty close to invoice.

For the 2013's, the invoice for a a base Sport was about 97.2% of MSRP, and invoice for a base Sahara/Rubu was about 94.5% of MSRP.

Most dealerships look at you like you've been smoking too much of that good stuff.

corvallisbattery I got my 2013 JKR fully loaded.. all but navigation.. $29,995 with tags, title and registration. I know I got a hell of a deal, but still... your price seems a bit high...
06-10-2013 06:34 PM
en1ma Yeah good points. Thanks. I guess I was posting to make sure I'm not doing anything dumb but I realize invoice is invoice my wiggle room is 1-3% from that. Thanks!

^This. And in some cases, you're better off not even telling people.

en1ma California has 9% sales tax.

Factory invoice of what I want (unlimited) is: $32,172 off of true car.com

+ taxes 9% will be like 35k total price.

-1% from tread lightly will make it $321 less than factory invoice. The only better side I can see is if I get 2% under invoice or 3 but at end of day that's only saving me $600ish which is no big deal to me.
06-10-2013 05:54 PM
dspud Dude, that's more than I paid for my 10 month old, 7,000 mile FULLY loaded 4 Dr Sahara. Pic attached. Deal better or go somewhere else, or go used like I did and get a much better deal!
06-10-2013 05:41 PM
en1ma Wow I just realized everything is wrong because above is not for 4 door. Ok. Sorry will be back.
06-10-2013 05:37 PM
en1ma That's 4 down. 1k rebate. 3% financing.
06-10-2013 05:35 PM
en1ma Here is final price attached
06-10-2013 05:15 PM
en1ma Sticker was: 30970

Invoice is: 29578.

FPP is: 29347

It would be $28574 without delivery fee but that's how it is in California.
