87YJnTX I have the serpentine...... no shroud on it right now. not my DD til I get everything right. it would fit except for those little tabs which point forward......may grind them off and get her in there that way.

Fabrokoner Yeah I have a 1990 4.2. Hmmm. My engine had been lowered or something. If you look at the pic of the radiator installed you can see the radiator hangs from some 3" or so brackets. Maybe that made the difference. Did you attach the shroud to the radiator before you put it in? There isn't enough room for that. You gotta drop in the shroud and fan at the same time. Not really sure...

87YJnTX I did pull the fan to install radiator.....the front of the fan hits the radiator when installed. Maybe you have aftermarket fan ? mines stock as far as I know

They came with nipples in. Easy enough to plug em if you wanted to. If you don't need a tranny cooler why not use it as a power steering cooler?

I was doing the water pump too and so I had removed the fan already before trying to fit it in. Its only 4 bolts to pull the fan, don't let it stop you.

reno92 Very nice! I have Champion bookmarked. Are the tranny cooler holes plugged or open? I like the 3 row but don't have an auto so don't need the tranny cooler.

Fabrokoner I just installed a Champion 3-row core all aluminum radiator yesterday. Made an almost 15 degree difference in operating temp. Well... maybe the new water pump, thermostat and flush and fill helped a bit. She sure is shiny, love it so far. $210 shipped on fleabay, as you can see ithas the tranny cooler (which I need).

I think all together is was 138 shipped

Shipping took like a week and a half

Radiator looks very nice a pretty. Good clean welds. Works great and bolted up very nicely.

Didn't come with a cap, or a tranny cooler, but my jeep is a 5 speed so I didn't need that anyway.

A tip when replacing it, take the fan out first, it will make getting to the hoses and bolts a hell of a lot easier.
