billybedford Got the two sampler packs from Five Pawns. Tge First is the signature line sampler.
Queenside-delicious blood orange
Gambit-Apple Pie with vanilla ice cream-couldn't be better
Grandmaster-peanut butter with banana cream, can only taste the peanut butter but an excellent vape
Bowden's mate-minty chocolatey goodness. Best menthol cigarette type vape I've found and I've tried at least ten different menthol/tobacco juices. They all taste like chemicals to me, but this is like an Andes mint/peppermint patty.
Absolute pin-black licorice and therefore not for me.

The next sampler was the mixology line(alcoholic beverage themed)
Castle long- the only one I will be reordering from this sample line. toasted coconut, toasted almond and Kentucky bourbon. complex and delicious.
Jury still out on the rest of the flavors.
Lucena
Perpetual check
Fifth Rank
Sixty Four

These are all 50/50 pg/vg, and really the first juice with pg in it that doesn't bother me.

sampler packs are 27.00 for 5 4ml samples. 30ml size is I think 27.00 As well. Pricey but worth it in my opinion. Some of the most well thought out and complex juices I've tried. samples come with a paper describing each flavor.

sonofabeach Man a lot of them don't even look like cigarettes.
Yeah, I know they're not, but I'm not sure if I like that.
But hey...at least they look like mini light sabers.

PHILDABEAST Unfortunately my kind of lucky also means I'm broke.
04-13-2014 04:18 AM
billybedford you lucky beast

PHILDABEAST My wife is a vaper and a jeeper so its really not a tough sell either way.
04-12-2014 01:40 PM
billybedford this "hobby" is approaching jeep levels of expenditure, but you can sell it to your wife easier because its actually good for your health!(compared to smoking)

PHILDABEAST I need to un-subscribe from this thread, you guys are just costing me money. Pulled the trigger on almost $100 worth of stuff from fasttech.

Let me know how the fasttech stuff works out, their prices are crazy cheap.
2 week or so delivery time. My last order from them was 2 weeks and a day, in fact. Never had any issues with them, they just take a loooong time.

Wharfrat For a plain vanilla tank that's not expensive, the Aspire BDC can't be beat. I've been vaping for over 3 years and it is by far the best I have found. Kanger stuff is garbage.

billybedford would love to build a DNA 30. was looking at a vapor shark DNA for like 150 bucks too, they're super small.
and I agree on the kayfun clone. I've got a tobecco and it works every time, while my three pro tanks sit in a drawer. really digging my droppers right now, as I've been trying a lot of different juices lately and the taste is a bit better than even my kayfun.

also, if you guys don't know what a reo mod is you should check em out, a lot of people really like em

awesome! pretty sure mine is a clone too. lets see, the last time I rebuilt it was.... last monday! still going great.

ordered a nemesis clone off of fasttech, got the 18650 model but I will be using a kick and 18500's. got a bunch of magnets to replace the spring. all for a grand total of $36 including shipping! they do take forever to ship though, been about a month and it ships on the 10th...

I will never buy another kanger product. got the 2, leaked like crazy. got the 3, leaked like crazy. got a hypertank (basically a huge protank that uses the same coils, its the black thing behind my keyboard in the below pic) and loved it. got a kanger aero because it was supposedly free of all the leaking problems. lasted a day.

decided to take the plunge into RBA's, I am still very new at it but I will never go back to those silly units with replaceable coil units. the flaw with kangers and the like is that the coils replace as a unit which requires so many more seals, which leak unless they are perfect. I also found that temperature changes really screw with everything, as temps change that fluid warms and expands and it all comes out through the wick and then into your mouth and you have a bad day. as phil said, altitude changes would have the same effect.

got a kayfun lite and I love this thing! I have not opened it up for 3 days and I no longer carry q-tips around. it just works!

RBA's really arent very hard. I learned everything from this guy.

billybedford phildabeast, I too have had issues with my pro tank 2's. there are tons of videos on how to rebuild and fix leaking. I was able to fix a leak by using the spare o ring they give you. my iclear 30s has been great but you have to dry burn once in awhile to renew your coil. other than that No issues with it.

have heard good things about the vivi-nova, and kanger aero tank.
And I highly recommend an igo-w clone for like 15 bucks if you don't already have a dripping/rebuildable atomizer for when your tanks are acting up. I can rebuild entire thing on my 10 min "smoke" break at work.
03-26-2014 09:45 PM
PHILDABEAST Anybody have a good tank they recommend? I've tried the Iclear 16 & 30, protank, protank II, and I'm currently using a unitank. Except for the unitank I've had problems with flooding and/or dry hits, the problem with the unitank is the lack of flavor.
Any help would be appreciated.

billybedford I've been thinking about trying nicquid's juices. the description of soho sounds right up my alley. can't stop vaping cheesecake torte by Highbrow Vapor right now.
Waiting on my first shipment of Boba's Bounty, and Gorilla Juice from Alien Visions Juice. One of the most talked about juices on the ecig forum.
I plan on vaping for a while, I'm in no hurry to quit right now. I think I'm enjoying it too much!

JeepEpoch I started vaping 2 years ago and couldnt be happier about it. I feel 100x better and more money in the pocket (actually in the jeep). I went through a bunch of batteries and tank combos and flavos of juice. I finally settled on a Ego Variable Voltage battery with passthrough and a Vivi Nova Mini tank with either cookies n' cream or an apple/strawberry 50/50 mix.

I try to convince any smoker who ASKS me about the vape experience as it is significantly better. When i switched i REALLY wanted to quit the analogs and advise them that is the key to quitting.

I still plan on quitting nicotine alltogether as it is addictive and who wants a dependancy? Maybe when my jeep is in all working order

kjeeper10 Been rocking twisted 30 wire, 10/11 wraps @ 1.5 ohms. So far my best setup. Duals work nice but juice disappears fast. New all day vape, SOHO from Nicquids. Kinda like a 555. Very good !!!

My latest creation. Seeing a lot of the Kayfun light around lately

odd42 Was at a diner last night, and the fire alarm goes off. Turns out the e-cig shop next door had so much vapor in the air that it tripped the smoke alarm...

I'll probably kick e-cigs it again this Spring when there's more opportunity to get out of the house -vs chain-vape in the living room. I like e-cigs, but it seems like they make it illegal to vape in more and more places every day. I'd guess they will eventually get more costly as .gov gets more serious about regulating them and big tobacco co-opts them as a replacement revenue stream to a greater degree. I'd like to be out of them by then, but I wouldn't hesitate to pick them back up if it was what kept me from smoking again.
What i do is just switch between nicotine and non nicotine liquid. I have two tanks, one for nicotine and one for non nicotine. When i have a craving i throw the nicotine tank on and take a few puffs then switch to the non nicotine tank and just puff on that one. Eventually i won't have any more cravings for nicotine and I'll just puff on it for flavor and something to do.

billybedford night marcher, i see you are using a protank with a mech mod like mine(origin). I just got two protank 2's and they are both leaking on me. I was thinking its because I'm pushing up on the center pin when i use the kick at the bottom. have you had any issues w this?

pig78 The Blu's and others like it are, in my opinon, worthless. I tried them 4 times to no avail. Got into vaping mods, and bingo! Still using juice with nic in it, but have cut down on mg, and it's a new hobby. Got a Vamo V2, a box mod, and a pipe. Down to 2 flavors I like from a local shop. Swap them between tube mod and pipe, and no cigs in 5 months. Not even a craving. Don't even use tobacco flavors anymore. Cinnamon, and a light menthol. Which is odd, because I hated menthol cigs.
