Have they charged your credit card yet? Cant hurt to make sure they dont try anything funny.

Nothing that seems to specify return shipping or restocking fees. Just a 30 day return policy. Doesn't say anything except that. So, I probably need to contact and get information.

I know I won't get money right away (most likely), but seems possible to come out at least even, if not better. And, if the return shipping is $50, that's $50 saved going this route. Provided I make that.

I need to call to be sure because I'm afraid I'd request that and then be docked return shipping and restocking fee from my refund.

So..input? Just return and get it over with, or attempt to sell it? Craigslist or Amazon both seem like viable options. Could start an account on Ebay, but I don't want to spread myself thin in case I get multiple bites at once.

I would say craigeslist or flea bay.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out! Black Friday deals come hither!

Though, I was hoping to get deals on more body armour oriented gear. Oh, well. I feel more inclined to needing the winch. The rest can wait.

Well...I'm going to see if Amazon will buy it off me, or just sell it on their site. I can afford to wait a little bit if need be. I discovered I have a 30 day return policy. Still need to call since most places charge return shipping and a restocking fee. BUT, if I can sell it to Amazon, or on their site for a profit, that would be a HUGE plus. Not sure if it would be possible, but worth trying since I apparently have 30 days to work with.

Will probably just see about selling it on craigslist. Should be easy to compete against the $450 rusted out Warn M8000 that is currently on there. But, who knows? Warn carries a lot of weight in name alone. Not that many people are aware of Superwinch.

Mammoth919 here is some bad news bro...
Mammoth919 The biggest problem is yes, you could run a dual battery set-up, in addition to you current battery, you wouldnt want to run 2 batteries on the current setup or you will have well done jeep. The batteries need to be wired in parallel to work correctly. I vote to just sell it, only things that use that are dump trucks and hummers/military equip.
Nikao On Superwinch's site, the motor itself is $235. Could probably find a deal elsewhere. But, I also see 12v DC solenoid for $110 and a 12v solenoid for $21. Do I actually need all three or just the motor? There doesn't seem to be descriptions for these, so I'm not sure what I'd be buying with each.

Found it for $460, and jumped on it. Went up to $1070 within a few minutes after placing my order.

How do you figure the amperage? I can find it on the 12v version, but every dealer I can find doesn't list it. It is the 1902B X9. I think the 12v is the 1901C X9.

The 12v says this according to Superwinch's website (it doesn't have the 24v anywhere on it):

Line Pull: 0 lbs 73 Amps Motor Draw / 38.2 FPM (11.6 MPM) Line Speed Line Pull: 9,000lbs 420 Amps Motor Draw / 2.5 FPM (0.8 MPM) Line Speed

Hmm...well, appears we are back to figuring out how to utilize it if I keep it. I'd like to keep it, as I got a great deal on it; but, will definitely be weighing my options in the coming days. It has already shipped, so it's too late to back out at this point or I would. Should be here Tuesday, so I will use this time to determine appropriate steps to take.

Learning is always good. I will say, if there's one positive to all of this, I have been learning a lot. Yet, the questions seem endless.
