A.M.P. Been in D1 for 2 weeks... This is making me crazy! Should be anytime now!?!??!! I think this waiting wouldnt't be so bad if we heard SOMETHING. Weeks go by without a peep. Congrats on all of you getting your babies home. At least we all know they are producing!

I wore this one covering all my hair one day to keep the dust out of it. I didn't have any issues with it blowing off while we were driving with the doors off.

Amazon.com: Delicol 6pcs Assorted Seamless Outdoor Sport Bandanna Headwrap Scarf Wrap(7 Color Choices) (Style 6): Clothing

I wore this the other two days with a small pony tail. It was nice to keep the sun out of my eyes.

Amazon.com: Blank Hat Ponytail Cap in Khaki: Clothing

Haven't tried either with the top down yet, but I'm hoping the buff will work well then. Hat would probably still need a leash to not lose it in a strong wind.

Say to Mrs. Hoorah for me!
I will tell Mrs. Hoorah hello from you when I get home tonight! Her hair length is about to the middle of her neck then tucks under. Thanks so much for the info!! I like the digital camo stuff but I know she won't go for it!

No update for me today. I just went to D1 last Thursday so I'm content for a few weeks. I need to start focusing on selling my current Jeep and motorcycle to help pay for the new Jeep.

Still waiting for the Jeep, and I'm actually beginning to hope that it speeds through the rest of the process. I'll be moving to Florida on the first of May and will have to have a rental car until the Jeep arrives. I'm still scheduled for production on or around May 1, so I'm looking at a couple of weeks of a rental waiting for it to ship (assuming that the production date is accurate). Just priced it out for the first two weeks and it is upwards of $500 for a car I can actually fit into...

So I'm hoping that my karma is good and the shipping goes quickly...
I'm hoping everything works out for you.

Yeah, I checked the monthly rates and it doesn't look much better. Problem I'm running into isn't the cost of the rental itself, it is all the taxes and additional fees that get added in. Also running into difficulty due to changing needs during the month - I arrive on the 1st and my two dogs will be arriving on the 16th. I will need an SUV to get the two heathens home, but don't want to pay for a full month of it.

Did come across a SUV on Hotwire for $850 for the month. That may be the best bet for me...

I called Sirius up and they were amazingly nice about just issuing a refund for the remaining 10+ months.

As for the activation, I was informed by Sirius that the Jeep dealership activated it with Sirius effective the date I took delivery. I would guess that the chances are very slim that you've got a year's "credit" hanging around, whether you listened to it or not.

Thanks!
There is no code or activation, it's based on the Radio ID and sale date. The radio will come activated already. Once the dealer pushes through the paperwork as sold, the Chrysler system reports to SiriusXM the sold date and that's when the 1 year clock begins.

I agree with another poster, I have an iPhone with tons of music and still listen to Sirius a lot, and make sure of the traffic on my 730N as well.

I found that after a few years of iPod/iPhone listening (this was a decade ago) I began to spend a lot more time on sat radio than I do listening to my own bilge.

Just sayin' that if you like music (sounds like you do), Sirius is to "radio" as iPod is to 8-track.

I'm expecting to get mine tomorrow. Was thinking of places to go this week while the kids are in school. I'm off work Monday-Thursday. Hungry valley is only 45 minutes or so from Bakersfield. I may have to go up there. Any specific favorite trail?
