|PhotoWrangler||Bumping this one again, cause I'm now looking to do something with the new '14 JKU.|

TeraFlex - no mention of the (new?) 1.5" Perf Leveling Kit - how does this compare to say the BB? I'm thinking that because this kit includes new springs that it's 'better'?
Not looking for a lot of lift, just an inch or two, I want to be running 33s and will be adding some aftermarket weight (bumpers, side rails and roof rack).
it's for a 2013 JKU. Thanks for all the posts and the vid, really useful.

Control arms serve a purpose. Needed ? Not really but it's up to you.
TF offers different kits that have no control arms, lowers only, all 8, etc
Did you read "lifting your JK" ?

Man this cleared so many things up!
I have a 08 JK X, and I've been pulling my hair out trying to find what tire/lift/wheel I need/want.
Not much crawling around my area, but there's alot of mud, rocky trails, and some steep approaches. I drive the jeep everyday to work, so I didnt want to go crazy.
I've decided I'm going to get a 2.5" and run 33's. I think I might get the tires first (completely stock suspension, ARB stubby bumper is the only major mod).

Does this come with tho control arms/do I need the control arms?

|Bluect||I don't think making your wife watch a video is really going to get her to ok the lift but good luck. Great video though. Too bad I already bought my lift. I will make sure I watch this before I buy the next one for my 2014.|

Metalcloak 3.5" lift???
Does anyone know anything about the Metalcloak JK Wrangler Game-Changing Mid Arm 3.5" Suspension System? I use my Jeep every day for work so I cant get crazy. This kit looks impressive. It uses the 6PakTM Long Travel Shocks, Metalcloak Dual Rate Coils, Duroflex Control Arms with Roto-Bearing, Duroflex Joint, and front & rear Solid Chromoly Track Bars. Anyone using this kit?

Bob you and I are in the same boat. I'm getting my '14 JKUR Wednesday and have already started ordering things for it, including a q-tec hitch and I just received my Rancho geometry correction brackets. I'm ordering a TF 2.5" spring lift with shock adapters next week.
Question for Teraflex.. You mentioned the kit with adapters has a different track bar? If I wanted to swap to longer shocks later on, what will I need? Are the spring identical between kits?

Are the shocks on the Rubicon the same as on the Sport/s? I am ordering a 2014 JKUR and was thinking of the 2.5 with extensions. I will be adding bumpers carrier and winch.

Definitely, the 2.5" kit with shocks and 35s is the best choice for my needs...

good stuff. My question is: I have 3.21 gears on my 2013 JKU freedom edition. If I went with a performance leveling kit, can I run 33" or 35" tires and not sacrifice performance or fuel mileage? I do mostly street and/or beach driving.

|TeraFlex||2.5" kit will be perfect for you. I do highly recommend the shocks.|
