OverkillYJ Well with a Jeep if the shifter is not in 4X4 the front axle will not get power even if the axle is engaged. It could still make you steering feel a little off though at full turn.

yj88wrangler I drove in reverse for a bit and hammered.the brakes a couple times. Only the rears are spinning in gravel and its not binding up in tight turns like all my other 4x4s

OverkillYJ If the vacxume lines are good I would change the oil in the front diff. If it hasnt been changed in 10 + years the sludge in there can be causing problems with the disconnect.

front end wobble

88yj put it in 4x4 for the first time since I bought it and now it shakes when I turn. Please help.
