drspec I have to say the white jkini is very nice

definitely cuts down the intensity of the sun and makes driving the Jeep with the top down more fun

wasn't even sure that was possible

Yep just the front 3 straps.
The grommets just sat over the holes, there is velcro around them if you want to make them sit exactly. I didn't use the velcro and they aligned good enough, I just have to wiggle the bolts around a little to get them started into the freedom panels.

camogirl Nobody has hot pink?? Really?? lol....

My husband is 6'4" and when I see him in the jeep I wonder if his head will rub on the SWS. Anyone have this prob? Course, if I get pink he'll prob never get in it again anyway ....

Menerdari I am at work right now so can't get a pic but the hard top just sits right on top, it doesn't really touch the shade as most of the shade sags a bit. I did take the front 3 short bungees off (the ones that go on the hooks the freedom top clips to) and put them in my console. I will try to get a pic when I get home in a couple hours.

lingle80 Would some one show me a picture of there spiderweb shade with there hard top on from the inside I'm having a hard time understanding how your keep the shade on with the hard top. Thanks

My only concern is the white getting stained. Is that valid?
I have lime green & seeing all the little gnat-like bugs that get stuck in it is kinda gross - wouldn't see them if it was black...Something to consider!

drspec I have a white wrangler sport and am trying to decided between white a black.

Plan on painting/dipping my hinges if that makes a difference.

just in joy I just ordered a Silver or grey depending on how you look at the color chart. I been searching for something like this I didn't have to track down extra parts for here in San Diego I burn my arm up on my center console in this blistering hot 84 degrees...

I was about to go red but changed my mind due to I may change my mind on my wheels and not get some that have red accents to them.

Auckland Why do they not make Purple???

flyinion So I've got a black shade in their previous non-trailmesh material (about 2 years old now). Thinking about replacing it due to a bent grommet and to get the tougher material and some color. Undecided on what color to go with (trying to avoid black). Jeep is the black forest green which looks black quite a bit but occasionally the green comes out to play when the sun is right and the Jeep is clean. What do you guys think?
07-02-2014 03:36 PM
backdoc I don't think you can go wrong with black. And if you don't like it you could sell it easily!

I bet that does look nice since your interior is two-toned. Unfortunately, mine is not. It's just the charcoal black with grey accents. I will admit that I am leaning on the black though.

1. Black
2. Red
3. Green

Thanks!

Glow in the dark stars?!! Darn, now I wish I got a black one so I could do that! Here's my green:

Jeepski. Opinions please: I can't decide, black/grey or blue shade with my winter chill?

Anyone have pics of a winter chill with the blue shade?

SteedGun I have the grey SWS with my Red JKURX. So far it has been super. I have one question. When you put the hard top back on and leave the SWS in place do you put the bolts back through the sound bar into the hard top? There are two grommets above some Velcro that appear to be in the right spot but there was not instructions for a hard top. I am thinking of using those grommets to hold the top so it does not rattle as well.

Not the orange, I like the way black looks on mine. I have the spiderweb cage and it's cool, especially for my kids. Thought about grey or tan, but nah

Thinking the Red would look great with the red tow hooks and decal outline, but if I have to ride under a bright red light that might not work. Thanks Todd
Id like to know the same! I have a JKX on the way and was thinking about a spiderweb shade in red. Subscribing for the 411 for those who have the red!
